SRM Prime Hospital Launches ‘SRM Prime Zone’ Healthcare Initiative for Nearby Residents
Chennai: SRM Prime Hospital has launched ‘SRM Prime Zone’, a neighbourhood healthcare initiative aimed at improving access to medical services for residents living within a 5 km radius of the hospital.
As part of the initiative, the hospital has introduced the SRM Prime Card, which will be issued free of cost to households in the designated area and will provide access to various healthcare benefits and preventive health services.

The initiative covers residents living in:
- Ramapuram
- Manapakkam
- Porur
- Mugalivakkam
- Valasaravakkam
- KK Nagar
- Nesapakkam
- Nearby surrounding localities
According to the hospital, the programme is intended to improve access to medical care, preventive healthcare and emergency services for residents in these neighbourhoods.
Initiative Inaugurated in Chennai
The programme was inaugurated by playback singer Mano in the presence of Siva, Chief Executive Officer, Selva Ramasamy, Vice President – Healthcare Services, Dr. Shrilekha Venkatesan, Assistant Director – Medical Services, along with community leaders and representatives from various Residents’ Welfare Associations.
Free Health Screening for 10,000 Residents
A key feature of the initiative is a free health screening programme for 10,000 residents living within the SRM Prime Zone through medical camps.
The hospital said the programme is intended to encourage early diagnosis, improve community health awareness and promote regular preventive health check-ups.

Speaking on the occasion, Siva, Chief Executive Officer, SRM Prime Hospital, said the initiative aims to make healthcare more accessible, affordable and preventive while strengthening community engagement.
He said the hospital plans to provide free health screenings to the first 10,000 residents within the Prime Zone and offer healthcare benefits through the SRM Prime Card to encourage early medical consultation and healthier lifestyles.
