HCLTech Showcases AI and Immersive Learning Technologies at CII Edu-Tech Expo 2026
Chennai: HCLTech is participating in the second edition of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Edu-Tech Expo 2026, being held at the Chennai Trade Centre from September 24 to 26.
HCLTech is a Gold sponsor of the three-day event, where it is showcasing applications of artificial intelligence and immersive technologies in teaching, learning and workforce development.
As part of the expo, Ambika Natarajan, Senior Vice President – Edtech at HCLTech, is participating in a panel discussion titled “From Theory to Practice: Immersive Learning Across Disciplines.” The session brings together representatives from academia, industry and government to discuss the use of technologies such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and digital twins in learning.
The company is also conducting a hands-on workshop titled “AI for Educators: Create Your Own AI Agent for Teaching and Tutoring.” The workshop is aimed at higher education leaders, professors and technical staff, and focuses on practical applications of AI in education.
The session demonstrates how AI-powered assistants can be developed for tasks including lesson planning, content creation, student engagement and personalized learning.
