Saatvik Green Energy Receives ‘Brand of the Year’ Award at India Power & Renewable Leadership Awards 2026
Mumbai: Saatvik Green Energy Limited has been awarded the ‘Brand of the Year’ title at the India Power & Renewable Leadership Awards 2026 for its contribution to the renewable energy sector and its role in domestic solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing.
The award recognises organisations that have demonstrated leadership, innovation, and contributions to the development of India’s power and renewable energy ecosystem. According to the organisers, winners were selected through an evaluation process involving a jury comprising government officials, policymakers, and industry representatives, along with audience voting.
The recognition was presented during the India Power & Renewable Conference 2026, an industry event that brought together more than 400 stakeholders from across the power and renewable energy sectors.
The conference featured participation from senior officials and industry leaders, including D. Sai Baba, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Power; Rajesh Kulhari, Joint Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE); Ghanshyam Prasad, Chairman of the Central Electricity Authority (CEA); Akash Tripathi, Managing Director of SECI; and Jishnu Barua, Chairperson of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC).
Discussions at the conference focused on topics related to India’s energy transition, including power system readiness, energy storage, green hydrogen, manufacturing and supply chains, market development, and regulatory preparedness.
Commenting on the recognition, Prashant Mathur, Chief Executive Officer of Saatvik Green Energy Limited, said the award reflects the company’s efforts in renewable energy manufacturing and its focus on supporting India’s clean energy goals through innovation and domestic production capabilities.
The company stated that the recognition comes as it continues to expand its manufacturing operations within India’s renewable energy sector.
