SI Surgical Opens Medical Equipment Experience Centre in Chennai, Expands Operations in South India
Chennai: SI Surgical Pvt. Ltd., a Kolkata-based provider of medical equipment and hospital solutions, has opened its first medical equipment experience centre in South India at Nandambakkam, Chennai. The new facility marks the company’s expansion into the southern region and aims to improve access to medical equipment, technical support, and hospital solutions for healthcare providers.
The experience centre was inaugurated by Dr. J.S. Rajkumar, Chairman of Lifeline Hospitals; Dr. Kannan, Senior Surgical Gastroenterologist, Chennai; and Swami Sampath Maharaj of Sri Ramakrishna Math, Mylapore, in the presence of Sanjoy Mukherjee, Founder and CEO of SI Surgical Pvt. Ltd.
Dr. Sathish Christopher, MLA of Radhapuram constituency, also visited the centre and conveyed his wishes to the SI Surgical team during the launch. The company is also participating in the MediCall Expo, held at the Chennai Trade Centre.
Spread across 5,500 square feet, the Chennai experience centre will function as a regional hub for hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, and healthcare professionals across South India. It showcases the company’s range of medical equipment and hospital solutions, including:

The facility also provides on-ground technical support, after-sales service, assistance with equipment selection and procurement, and maintenance support for healthcare institutions in the region.
Speaking at the launch, Sanjoy Mukherjee, Founder and CEO of SI Surgical Pvt. Ltd., said the experience centre reflects the company’s commitment to improving access to medical technology and support services for healthcare providers in South India. He added that the expansion is part of the company’s efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure across India by ensuring medical institutions have access to quality equipment and technical expertise.
The Chennai experience centre represents SI Surgical’s first dedicated facility in South India and is expected to support healthcare providers with product demonstrations, technical assistance, and faster service response across the region.
