IndianOil Bhavan Chennai Marks 80th Independence Day
Chennai: The 80th Independence Day was celebrated at IndianOil Bhavan in Chennai with the hoisting of the National Tricolour by V. C. Asokan, Executive Director, Southern Region and State Head, Tamil Nadu.
Addressing employees during the programme, Asokan highlighted the ideals of freedom, unity and progress envisioned by the nation’s founders. He called upon employees to uphold values of integrity, inclusivity and responsibility and contribute to nation-building through professional excellence and civic commitment.
He also shared milestones related to IndianOil’s brand performance on the global stage, highlighting the company’s position in the energy sector.
The celebrations included a disciplined march-past by members of the Territorial Army and IndianOil security teams.
During the event, Long Service Awards were presented to employees who had completed significant periods of service with the corporation. Incentive awards were also given to the children of employees who had attained higher educational qualifications.
The programme concluded with cultural performances by IndianOil staff, marking the Independence Day celebrations at IndianOil Bhavan.
