MakeMyTrip, Axis Bank Announce Travel Benefits for Long Weekends Through March 2027
Chennai: MakeMyTrip and Axis Bank have announced a partnership offering travel benefits to Axis Bank credit cardholders during key long weekends and peak holiday travel periods through March 2027.
The programme is built around India’s long weekend calendar and will provide benefits across travel categories on the MakeMyTrip platform, including domestic and international flights, hotels, holiday packages, tours and attractions, buses and cabs.
According to the companies, a dedicated booking window will open ahead of each eligible long weekend, allowing customers to access the applicable offers during the specified period.
Travel benefits
Under the offer, customers booking through MakeMyTrip and paying with an eligible Axis Bank Credit Card will receive a flat 10% instant discount on domestic flights, capped at ₹1,800, and up to 15% instant discount on domestic hotel bookings, capped at ₹5,000.
Similar benefits will be available on international flights and hotels, buses, cabs, tours and attractions.
Holiday packages will be eligible for an additional 5% instant discount, over and above MakeMyTrip’s existing holiday offers, with the additional discount capped at ₹20,000.
The applicable benefits and offer details will be displayed on the payments page at checkout ahead of each long weekend. The companies said full terms and conditions, including minimum booking values, will be listed on the MakeMyTrip app and website before each offer goes live.

He said the partnership aims to provide benefits to cardholders during long weekends and strengthen the travel benefits associated with Axis Bank Credit Cards.
The companies said the programme is intended to support travel planning around multiple holiday periods, as shorter and more frequent getaways become increasingly common among travellers.
