Skill India and Meta Launch AI-Powered Skill India Assistant on WhatsApp
Mumbai: The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India, has partnered with Meta to launch the Skill India Assistant (SIA), a groundbreaking AI-powered digital skilling tool. This initiative aims to provide access to millions of Indians across the country, bridging the digital divide and transforming the way people connect to skill development opportunities.
The Skill India Assistant offers a range of features, including access to skilling courses, discovery of nearby training centers, and tailored job opportunities. Available on WhatsApp at +91 8448684032 and the Skill India Digital Hub, SIA provides a unique opportunity for individuals to explore skill development options. The assistant is currently available in English, Hindi, and Hinglish, with plans to expand to more regional languages.
The launch of SIA marks a significant milestone in India’s skilling landscape. User feedback will be actively gathered and incorporated into future updates, allowing the assistant to evolve with learner needs and AI advancements. As India pursues its goal of becoming the global skill capital, the Skill India Assistant represents a commitment to ensuring that every citizen has a trusted mentor guiding their journey toward economic opportunity.
