HARTEK Secures ₹138 Crore Contract from PGCIL

Mumbai: HARTEK, a leading EPC company in the power and renewable infrastructure sector, has been awarded a significant contract worth ₹138 crore by Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (POWERGRID) under the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route.

Key Highlights:

  • The contract pertains to the development of the 400kV AIS Substation Package SS-66T, associated with the Transmission Scheme for integration of Davanagere/Chitradurga and Ballari Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) in Karnataka.
  • The project will strengthen the national grid and accelerate the green energy transition, contributing to India’s sustainable growth story.
  • The substation will play a crucial role in integrating renewable energy from the Davanagere, Chitradurga, and Ballari REZ into the national grid, aligning with India’s target of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel-based capacity by 2030.
