Abhishek Wins 1st Tamil Nadu State Ranking Tenpin Bowling Tournament in Chennai
Chennai, July 2, 2026: Abhishek D emerged as the champion of the 1st Tamil Nadu State Ranking Tenpin Bowling Tournament, defeating Anand Raghav 2-0 in the final held at LetsBowl, Thoraipakkam, Chennai. The tournament concluded on July 1.
The championship match was played in a best-of-three games format. Abhishek secured the title by winning the opening two games with scores of 191-185 and 189-135. After edging Anand Raghav by just six pins in the first game, Abhishek delivered a stronger performance in the second game to seal the championship.Earlier in the semifinals, Abhishek defeated Vishnu M 2-0 with game scores of 214-166 and 196-194 to advance to the final.
In the other semifinal, Anand Raghav overcame Akramullah Baig 2-0, recording scores of 215-161 and 196-161 to book his place in the title clash.
Shabbir Dhankot finished at the top of the standings after Round 2 with a total pinfall of 2,286 and an average score of 190.5.
