ORA Senior Care Opens Premium Assisted Living and Rehabilitation Centre in Chennai’s Vepery
Chennai: ORA Senior Care, a premium senior care facility offering assisted living, rehabilitation and long-term residential support, was inaugurated at Vepery in Chennai on Monday.
Located at 84/1, Periyar Thidal, EVK Sampath Salai, Vepery, the centre brings together medical care, rehabilitation services, hospitality and emotional wellbeing under one roof. The facility aims to provide families with a centrally located option for senior care while ensuring access to round-the-clock professional medical support.
Founded by Chavi Surana, a fourth-generation entrepreneur, ORA Senior Care has been designed around the idea of providing older adults with comfort, dignity, independence and meaningful human connection.
The facility caters to seniors requiring assisted living, transitional care, post-hospital recovery, rehabilitation, respite care and long-term residential support. According to the organisation, the centre has been planned to move away from the conventional institutional model of elder care by offering private suites with natural lighting and spaces designed to support daily living.
In addition to medical services, ORA integrates activities focused on emotional and social wellbeing. Its care model combines evidence-based healthcare with Indian cultural practices, including breathwork, restorative routines, music, community engagement and celebrations aimed at promoting overall wellbeing among residents.
Speaking at the inauguration, Chavi Surana, Founder of ORA Senior Care, said the initiative was created to address the challenge many families face in balancing professional healthcare with staying close to their elderly loved ones. She said the facility has been designed to provide clinical care while ensuring seniors live with dignity, comfort and purpose.
The inauguration was attended by healthcare professionals, members of Chennai’s medical fraternity, community leaders, invited guests and well-wishers. Visitors were given a guided tour of the facility and introduced to its care model and services.
