Mumbai: Honeywell and Stereolabs have partnered to develop a new mobile solution that accurately measures the size, volume, and weight of boxes and pallets in distribution centers. This innovative solution combines Stereolabs’ stereoscopic cameras with Honeywell’s SwiftDecoder software, enabling logistics operators to better plan truck loading, track items, and optimize transportation.
Streamlining Logistics Operations
The mobile solution integrates the Stereolabs ZED stereoscopic camera and calculator with Honeywell’s SwiftDecoder barcode-decoding software, capturing critical weight and dimension information. This data is automatically uploaded to a central database, allowing businesses to understand the volume and composition of transported goods in real-time and plan the most efficient and cost-effective way to transport, load, or de-stock goods.
