Taj Coromandel Celebrates Madras Day with Heritage Brunch
Chennai: Taj Coromandel’s all-day dining restaurant, Anise, is inviting guests to join the Madras Day celebrations with a special heritage brunch on August 24. The event is part of the city’s month-long festivities marking its founding in 1639.

The brunch features an array of authentic flavors and traditional regional delicacies, including Sundal Thalichathu, Puliyogarai, and Kovil Thair Sadam. Guests can also indulge in richer dishes like Pacha Manga Meen Kozhambhu and Varutharacha Kozhi Chukka, accompanied by flaky flatbread.

The event aims to provide a culinary journey through the city’s history and heritage. The menu is inspired by the city’s historic landmarks, with food counters named after Triplicane, Ribbon Building, and St. Thomas Mount.
