Axis Max Life Champions Inclusion Through Employee-Led CSR Initiative in Chennai

Chennai: Axis Max Life Insurance Limited, in partnership with Hope Public Charitable Trust, hosted a heartwarming employee-driven CSR initiative in Chennai under its flagship ‘Joy of Giving 2.0’ program. The event brought together 130 Axis Max Life volunteers to support 340 specially-abled and orphaned children, reinforcing the company’s commitment to inclusion, empowerment, and community engagement.

The day-long celebration featured vibrant performances, interactive sessions, and meaningful activities designed to foster connection and upliftment. Highlights included a financial literacy workshop, a tree plantation drive, and inclusive sports events, all aimed at promoting environmental awareness and financial inclusion. Volunteers also distributed identity cards and uniforms to the children, furthering Axis Max Life’s efforts to empower underserved communities.

The ceremony commenced with the traditional Kuthu Vilakku lighting by distinguished guests from the Ministry of Defence, including Ms. Jeya Pradha Ganesh (CVRDE), Col. Girija Shankar Sahu (DGQA), Lt. Col. Varun Rathee (CVRDE), and Dr. V. Nagarani, Founder of Hope Public Charitable Trust. Their presence underscored the spirit of institutional collaboration in service of social impact.
