Binance Expands Blockchain Yatra to Bengaluru, Showcases Web3 Commitment at India Blockchain Week

Bengaluru: Binance, the global blockchain ecosystem and operator of the world’s largest digital asset exchange, has expanded its multi-city Blockchain Yatra to Bengaluru, marking the fifth and most strategic stop in its nationwide Web3 education tour. The event coincided with Binance’s headline presence at India Blockchain Week (IBW) 2025, creating a strong convergence of grassroots education and industry leadership.

India currently hosts over 1,200 Web3 startups and nearly 12% of the global blockchain developer pool. Karnataka, led by Bengaluru, contributes nearly one-third of this ecosystem, supported by 18,000 startups and the recently approved Karnataka Startup Policy 2025–2030, which allocates ₹518 crore to foster 25,000 deep-tech ventures.

At IBW, Binance reinforced its commitment to responsible blockchain innovation through keynotes, panels, and community engagements with developers, founders, and students.

SB Seker, Head of APAC, Binance, highlighted India’s pivotal role in global blockchain adoption: “India is uniquely positioned with its talent pool and digital infrastructure. If regulation and innovation align, the country could define responsible blockchain adoption globally. At Binance, our role is to support that journey through education, technology, and governance.”

Seker also noted Bengaluru’s vibrant developer ecosystem as an ideal venue for the Yatra, adding that aligning with IBW allowed Binance to connect deeply with India’s Web3 community.

The Bengaluru edition brought together students, developers, founders, and enthusiasts, building on successful engagements in Visakhapatnam, Ahmedabad, Chennai, and Mumbai. The Yatra continues to prioritize direct interaction with builders and students, reflecting Binance’s focus on fostering tangible growth in India’s blockchain ecosystem.
