TimeLinks and CaratLane Organise ‘Voice Hunt – Commentary Box’ in Chennai

Chennai: TimeLinks, in association with CaratLane, organised “Voice Hunt – Commentary Box”, a talent hunt event aimed at identifying aspiring cricket commentators and sports presenters.

The event was held on May 22 at Tanishq showroom in Anna Nagar and witnessed participation from students, cricket enthusiasts, aspiring anchors and media aspirants.

The organisers said the initiative was designed to provide a platform for young talents to showcase their communication skills, storytelling abilities and sports commentary techniques.

As part of the event, participants attended a free commentary workshop and received participation certificates. Cash prizes were also announced for outstanding performers.

According to the organisers, the programme seeks to encourage budding commentators and create opportunities for young voices interested in sports broadcasting and presentation.

The organisers stated that cricket continues to hold a strong emotional connection among audiences across the country and initiatives such as “Voice Hunt – Commentary Box” aim to nurture talent and celebrate the art of sports commentary.

The event was conducted with the support of CaratLane and hosted at the Tanishq outlet in Anna Nagar.
