UNIQLO to Open New Store at Lake Shore, Thane on October 16
Thane: Global apparel retailer UNIQLO has announced the opening of a new store at Lake Shore, Thane, on October 16, 2026.
The new outlet will expand UNIQLO’s presence in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The company said the store is being opened in Thane, a growing urban centre with a young and diverse customer base.
The store will occupy approximately 18,000 sq. ft. and will offer UNIQLO’s LifeWear clothing range for men, women and children.
According to the company, the store will feature a modern layout and UNIQLO’s standard visual identity.
New store in Thane
Kenji Inoue, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, UNIQLO India, said the Thane store marks another step in the company’s expansion across India.
He said Thane’s growing presence within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region provides an opportunity to serve more customers in the area.
The UNIQLO store at Lake Shore is scheduled to open on October 16, 2026. The company said further details regarding the opening, including any special offers and opening events, will be announced in the coming weeks.
