Balaji Seshadri’s Books Explore Workplace Beliefs and Human Resource Management
Chennai: Author Balaji Seshadri’s books Mindful Mondays in English and Thingalum Thelivum in Tamil, focusing on workplace dynamics, human resource management and organisational practices, were launched at an event in Chennai.
Tamil Nadu Food and Civil Supplies Minister P. Venkataramanan launched the two books. The first copies were received by industry leaders including G. R. Radhakrishnan, Managing Director, GRT Group; K. T. Srinivasa Raja, Managing Director, A2B Group; Johnson Asaria, CMD, Sathya Agencies; Murali Srinivasan, Managing Director, Techno Products; Guru Prasad Makam, Partner, Guru & Jana; R. Boomee Naathan, Chairman, Chennais Amirta Group; and A. R. Seshadri.
The books examine workplace relationships and organisational practices, with a focus on areas such as employer-employee relations, consistency, accountability, operational excellence, delegation, professional development and value creation.
According to Seshadri, the publications were developed from strategic advisory conversations with executive leaders and bring together ideas aimed at addressing organisational challenges faced by startups, enterprise founders and business owners.
The books also look at the role of effective human resource management in supporting business operations and sustainable organisational growth. Speaking at the launch, Minister P. Venkataramanan highlighted the importance of human resource management in entrepreneurial and corporate development.
Seshadri, Founder and Chief Belief Officer of Belief Systems, also spoke about Tamil Nadu’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, particularly its industrial and manufacturing sectors, and the need for organisations to develop consistent systems and practices as they grow.
Mindful Mondays and Thingalum Thelivum present the subject matter in English and Tamil respectively, extending the themes of workplace management and organisational development to readers in both languages.
