ACCA India Employer Summit 2025 Highlights Skills, Sustainability and the Profession

Bengaluru: ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) successfully hosted the India Employer Summit 2025 – Leaders’ Edition, focusing on bridging the skills gap, advancing sustainability, and shaping the future of the profession.

The summit brought together leading employers, GCCs, corporates, and advisory firms to discuss talent transformation, AI adoption, and evolving finance roles. Insights from employer-led roundtables were consolidated into four Leadership Playbooks, launched during the event to guide organisations across India.

Helen Brand, Chief Executive, ACCA, said: “India continues to play a defining role in shaping the global finance profession. The Leadership Playbooks reflect the forward-looking mindset organisations need as they navigate rapid change.”

Md. Sajid Khan, Director, ACCA India, added: “These playbooks are built on real experiences and solutions from leaders across sectors. We hope they inspire meaningful action within organisations.”

The summit also honoured excellence through the ACCA India Awards 2025, recognising achievements in sustainability, finance transformation, digital innovation, talent engagement, and DEI. In line with ACCA’s sustainability commitment, 150 geo-tagged trees were planted to form the ACCA Digital Forest, symbolising shared responsibility for the planet.
