TVS Supply Chain Solutions Signs MoU with Italy’s ALA Group to Enter India’s $28 Billion Aerospace & Defence Market
Mumbai: TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Italy-based ALA Group to jointly pursue opportunities in India’s fast-growing aerospace and defence supply chain market, estimated at $28 billion.
The partnership establishes a strategic framework to deliver integrated supply chain services across production and aftermarket lifecycles, with an initial focus on India and potential expansion into other geographies. A key area of collaboration will be defence offset programmes.
TVS SCS will leverage its defence and utilities supply chain expertise in the United Kingdom, along with its strong domestic infrastructure, regulatory capabilities and digital platforms. ALA Group will contribute global aerospace and defence domain expertise, technology platforms and relationships with OEMs and operators across Europe, the US and the UK.
TVS SCS currently generates around $140 million in annual revenues from its aerospace, defence and utilities operations, while ALA Group reported revenues of $345 million in 2024.
The companies will explore end-to-end services including production support, spare parts distribution, inventory optimisation, defence-grade logistics, logistics engineering and MRO support, aimed at serving OEMs, operators and government stakeholders.
Leaders from both organisations said the collaboration positions them to build a scalable, compliant and digitally enabled aerospace and defence supply chain platform in India and beyond.
