Shree Cement Wins CSR Times Award 2026 for Rural and Infrastructure Development

New Delhi: Shree Cement Limited has received the CSR Times Award 2026 in the Rural & Infrastructure Development category for its corporate social responsibility initiatives focused on community development and social impact.

The company received the Gold Award along with a Commendation Card at the 13th National CSR & ESG Summit 2026, held at Le Méridien in New Delhi.

The award was received on behalf of Shree Cement by Vishal Bhardwaj, Head – CSR, Shree Cement Limited. It was presented by H.E. Ms. Sena Latif, Ambassador of the Republic of Romania to India, and Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, Former Director General & CEO, Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs and Jury Chairman, CSR Times & Bharat ESG Awards.

Focus on Community Development

Commenting on the recognition, Neeraj Akhoury, Managing Director, Shree Cement Limited, said the award reflected the company’s focus on responsible growth and its efforts to support communities through initiatives aimed at inclusive development, resilience and sustainability.

The company said its CSR initiatives are focused on improving quality of life in communities and supporting long-term community development.

National CSR and ESG Summit

The summit was organised under the theme “Role of Responsible Businesses for Inclusive Bharat”. It brought together policymakers, diplomats, industry leaders, CSR professionals and sustainability experts to discuss the role of businesses in promoting inclusive and sustainable development.

Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister for Culture & Tourism, attended the summit along with other dignitaries.

Shree Cement said the recognition would further support its focus on community-oriented initiatives and its contribution towards the broader vision of Viksit Bharat.
