Kobelco Construction Equipment India Rolls Out 20,000th Excavator, Boosts R&D Capabilities

Chennai: Kobelco Construction Equipment India has achieved a significant milestone by producing its 20,000th excavator at its Sri City manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh. This facility caters to both domestic and international markets, solidifying India’s position as a key production hub for Kobelco.

KCEI has marked two significant achievements – rolling out its 20,000th excavator at the Sri City manufacturing plant, and expanding its R&D centre to enhance technology development and product innovation. This development underscores the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality construction equipment and its alignment with the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
