INDIAPEST 2026 Convention Brings Pest Management Industry Together in Chennai

Chennai: The Indian Pest Control Association (IPCA) is hosting INDIAPEST 2026, its 59th Annual Convention, at ITC Grand Chola in Chennai, bringing together more than 200 delegates from across India along with international participants representing global brands in the pest management sector.

The three-day convention is being held under the theme “Safety & Dignity”, with discussions focusing on workplace safety, professional standards and the role of pest management services in public health, food safety, infrastructure and environmental protection.

Technical Sessions on Pest Management

The convention’s technical sessions will cover areas including labour compliance, skill development, chemical formulations, termite management, food safety, sustainability and emerging technologies.

Representatives from government and public sector organisations, including MES, CPWD, BIS, VCRC, Indian Railways, FSSAI, GeM and Skill Development, are also participating. Discussions are expected to focus on standards, policy, procurement and professional development within the industry.

Exhibition to Showcase New Technologies

An international exhibition being held as part of INDIAPEST 2026 will feature pest management products, equipment, digital technologies and sustainable solutions.

The exhibition will provide participants with opportunities to examine developments in pest management and exchange information on practices and technologies used in different markets.

Focus on Safety and Professional Recognition

According to IPCA, the convention’s theme highlights the need for safer working practices and greater recognition of frontline pest management professionals.

The association said pest management is an essential public health service and stressed the importance of collaboration among government bodies, industry stakeholders, researchers, manufacturers and professional service providers.

INDIAPEST 2026 is also focused on professional development, innovation and the role of pest management in protecting public health and the built environment.
