Tarang Utsav 2026 Brings Together 2,700 Seniors Across Five Cities
Chennai: Serene Communities by Columbia Pacific, a brand of Lifebridge Group, has concluded the second edition of Tarang Utsav 2026, an inter-community competition held to encourage active participation, creativity and social interaction among senior citizens.
The festival began on July 9 and brought together more than 2,700 residents from Serene Communities in Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Kanchipuram and Puducherry.
Over several weeks, participants took part in virtual competitions across categories including music, dance, photography, painting, literary activities, indoor games and sports.
The festival concluded with a grand finale at Serene Amara in connection with World Senior Citizens’ Day on August 22.
Renowned artiste, actor and inventor Prakash Urs, known for his work in Prithvi, attended the finale. Along with the leadership team of Serene Communities, he felicitated winners across various categories and presented awards recognising their participation, talent and sportsmanship.
Rajagopal G, Co-Founder, Director and Group CEO, Lifebridge Group, said Tarang Utsav reflects the organisation’s focus on positive ageing and providing seniors with opportunities to pursue interests, develop new talents and remain socially engaged.
Dr. Reema Nadig, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Lifebridge Group, said participation in creative activities, literary events and sports can support cognitive, physical and emotional well-being among senior citizens. She added that such activities encourage continued engagement and social connections.

Tarang Utsav 2026 featured participation from residents across the five cities through arts, culture and sports activities, providing a platform for seniors to engage in shared interests and community activities.
