World’s First Shreem Brzee Lakshmi Shrine Inaugurated in Chennai
Chennai: A shrine dedicated to Shreem Brzee Lakshmi was inaugurated at the AstroVed Homa & Remedy Center in Chennai on June 29, 2026, coinciding with Pournami (Full Moon Day). The inauguration was held under the guidance of spiritual teacher Dr. Pillai.
According to the organisers, the Shreem Brzee Lakshmi Shrine is the first shrine of its kind dedicated to the “Om Shreem Brzee” mantra, which is associated in Dr. Pillai’s teachings with Goddess Mahalakshmi and is believed to represent wealth, prosperity and auspicious beginnings.
The organisers stated that the shrine has been established as a permanent spiritual centre centred on the mantra. They also said that the opening ceremony included rituals to energise the shrine before it was opened to devotees.
Along with Shreem Brzee Lakshmi as the central deity, the shrine also includes representations associated with Lord Ganesha, Lord Muruga, and the Ashta Lakshmis (Eight Forms of Lakshmi). According to the organisers, the shrine incorporates Adilakshmi, Dhanalakshmi, Dhanyalakshmi, Gajalakshmi, Veeralakshmi, Vijayalakshmi, Vidyalakshmi and Santhanalakshmi.
Inauguration Programmes
The inauguration included several religious ceremonies and rituals, including:
- 1,00,008 Shreem Brzee mantra chanting
- Maha Wealth and Prosperity Homam
- Lakshmi Shobanam
- Sumangali Pooja
- Kannika Pooja
- Ashta Lakshmi worship
- Special prayers for wealth and prosperity
The organisers also announced a 48-day Wealth and Prosperity Mandala Pooja, scheduled to be held from June 29 to August 16, 2026.
