Kia Showcases All-New Seltos in Chennai; Prices Start at ₹10.99 Lakh
Chennai: Kia India on Wednesday showcased the All-New Kia Seltos in Chennai, giving customers an opportunity to experience the next-generation mid-SUV. The model has been introduced at a starting price of ₹10.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Built on Kia’s global K3 platform, making its India debut, the All-New Seltos marks a significant evolution in size, design and technology. With a segment-leading length of 4,460 mm, width of 1,830 mm, and a longer wheelbase of 2,690 mm, the SUV offers improved road presence, enhanced cabin space and better ride stability.
The exterior design follows Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ philosophy and features the new Digital Tiger Face, Ice Cube LED projection headlamps, Star Map LED DRLs, connected LED tail lamps, sporty 18-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels, and first-in-segment automatic streamline door handles. The All-New Kia Seltos will be available in 10 mono-tone colour options, including two new shades — Morning Haze and Magma Red.
Commenting on the showcase, Atul Sood, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Kia India, said the All-New Seltos reinforces the brand’s commitment to offering globally competitive and customer-centric products in India. He added that the new model advances significantly in design, safety and technology while continuing to offer strong value in the mid-SUV segment.
Inside, the SUV features a technology-led and premium cabin with highlights such as a 75.18 cm (30-inch) Trinity Panoramic Display Panel, premium leatherette upholstery, ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat with memory, Bose 8-speaker audio system, 64-colour ambient mood lighting, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.
Safety remains a key focus, with a 24-standard safety package including six airbags, ABS and Hill-Start Assist Control, along with a Level-2 ADAS suite with 21 autonomous features, supported by a 360-degree surround view camera and Blind View Monitor.
The All-New Kia Seltos is offered with multiple powertrain options — Smartstream G1.5 Petrol, Smartstream G1.5 T-GDI Petrol, and 1.5L CRDi VGT Diesel, paired with transmission choices including 6MT, 6iMT, IVT, 7DCT and 6AT. It is available in four trims — HTE, HTK, HTX and GTX/X-Line, along with four option packs catering to convenience, premium features, ADAS and X-Line styling.
Manufactured at Kia India’s Anantapur plant, the All-New Seltos strengthens the company’s presence in the fast-growing mid-SUV segment and reaffirms its long-term commitment to the Indian market.
